An AMAZING success for the first annual fundraiser by Log Cabin Republicans of San Antonio, hosted by its president Mimi Planas.

Featuring Trish DeBerry, Bexar County Commissioner Pct 3, this first fundraising event attracted over 50 people, including a surprise appearance by the Bexar County Republican Party Vice Chairwoman, Charlotte Williamson Eisenhauer who also addressed the fiercely patriotic group. Also there was Marco Antonio Roberts, the chairman of Log Cabin Republicans of Texas, who expressed the support of fellow Texas chapters, and amazement at the achievements of the San Antonio LCR Texas chapter over the last year, including increasing monthly meeting attendance three-fold, staging Republican election rallies in San Antonio, that drew hundreds, and even single-handedly sponsoring the first ever massive billboard ad by an LCR Texas chapter in support of a candidate, among other things.
